About Lloyd

Lloyd was born right here in Waukesha County and lives in the City of New Berlin with his wife, Connie and his two step-children, Lauren and John, along with their two black Labrador retrievers.  Lloyd has lived virtually his entire adult life in Waukesha County and has been employed as an Assistant District Attorney for almost twenty one years.  A 1986 graduate of Marquette University Law School, Lloyd worked for a small business litigation firm in Brookfield immediately after graduation and then spent two years as an Assistant District Attorney in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin before retuning home in 1990 to begin his career in Waukesha.

As an Assistant District Attorney Lloyd has handled some of the most complex and high profile cases litigated in the office in the past twenty years.  He served as the legal director for the Waukesha County Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Group from 2000 to 2008 prosecuting all drug trafficking violations in the County.  In that capacity he worked with local, state and federal authorities to investigate and aggressively prosecute drug dealers whose activities endangered the citizens of Waukesha County.  Lloyd has also worked prosecuting cases in the sensitive crimes unit, handling sexual assault, child abuse and child neglect cases, working to achieve justice for victims while insuring that the community is protected from individuals who would violate the rules of our society.  Based upon his hard work and dedication to the citizens of Waukesha County, Lloyd has earned the support and endorsement of many law enforcement leaders and community leaders in the area.

In addition to his professional responsibilities in the District Attorney’s office, Lloyd is active in the community, serving on the board of directors for Family Service of Waukesha.  Family Service of Waukesha is a non-profit community based agency whose mission is to improve the quality of individual, family and community life in Waukesha County.   Lloyd also works as an instructor at Waukesha County Technical College, serving as an instructor for police in-service training where new and veteran officers receive training in the law and legal issues that impact their responsibilities as police officers.  Lloyd is also active with the New Berlin Eisenhower High School football boosters program working to enhance the high school football experience for the students involved in that sport.

Lloyd is involved in many outdoor activities including cross country skiing and cycling as well as hunting and fishing.  He is a member of numerous organizations that promote outdoor recreation opportunities, including  the NRA, Safari Club International, Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, Pheasants Forever, Wisconsin Bowhunters Association , and others.
